Champion Parenting, Inc.
Champion Parenting, Inc., is a 501(C) 3, non profit organization that supports, links and promotes parenting services in Central Florida and across the state of Florida. Champion Parenting, Inc. has been specifically designed for parents to provide expert advice, information and resources for children from birth through age 20. This one stop location for parenting assistance is an ideal starting point for any family related query parents may have and much more. An on-line badge will assure that all information is from a reliable source.
All programs and resources will be provided on this site to help parents get support in ways that best suit them e.g. books, magazine articles, help lines, on-line forums/social networking, and You Tube videos.
Resources will include but are not limited to the following areas:
Academics (pre-school to college)
Child care
Family leisure time
Nutrition
Safety
Discipline
Special educational needs
Legal assistance
All resource materials will be delivered on-line and through a new generation of social networking, workshops and help lines.
Particular attention will be aimed at those who dont usually access support, including: fathers as well as mothers, grandparents, young adults, parents of teenagers, adoptive parents; parents of children with special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities, or who might be disabled themselves. Information will be made available to you in a non-threatening way and in a manner that you would like to receive this support. (E-mail, blogging, You Tube, Twitter, direct mail, help lines, etc.)
A Champion Parenting Directory will be made available on this site. This parent directory will list all local services and contact information for families, along with help lines to meet parenting challenges when they need them.
Champion Parenting, Inc. will provide that link between home, school and the local community by establishing a pathway for successful parenting. This champion style parenting movement will embrace parenting education as being a top priority at our local and state level.
Every child deserves a chance to succeed and become a productive member of our community. This is the challenge that Champion Parenting, Inc. will embrace!
