POWER-Parenting Program

What is POWER Parenting?

• An innovative approach to parental involvement (preschool-college age)
• Offered to PTA groups, family organizations, schools, both public and private
• A series of three highly energized "one hour" parenting sessions*
• Covering a variety of topics, delivered by experts, and held three times a year 
• Inspirational and empowering for parents in a non threatening environment
• Encouraging and inviting by providing a partnership between home, school, and the community
• Establishes a pathway for successful parenting and academic success 

 *The first program,     

“Back-2-School-Power Parenting” will be offered in September

*The second program,
          “New Beginnings-Power Parenting” will be offered in January

 

*The third program,
          “Spring into Action-Power Parenting” will be offered in April

  
Program Details for Power Parenting:

Parents will:

• Learn specific parenting skills & strategies that produce academic success
• Actively participate in educational and health related topics
• Learn techniques to activate the confidence and motivational levels of children
• Learn how to effectively communicate with school personnel and network with other parents
• Be encouraged to continue to communicate concerns and successes by using the interactive platforms provided at www.championparentingpower.com
